People inside and outside the church tell you that "For your life to matter, all you need to do is ..."
We like to make things really complicated. God doesn't require us to read a book ... or make a pilgrimage to Mecca ... or anything else outside of our minds. When Jesus was crucified, the thief that hung beside him said, "Lord, remember me when you come into your kingdom." Jesus said, "... today you will be with Me in paradise."
The Christian life is simple. It is not about having the right clothes or the right hair style. The Christian life is about believing Jesus Christ is sinless God in the Flesh and that when He voluntarily gave His life he gave you the choice to use His perfection as a cover for your imperfection.
All the sins that you have committed are gone as far as "the East is from the West" if you simply understand what Jesus did and ask Him to give you His offering. When you do that, His sinlessness is given to you. God sees Jesus' sinlessness when He looks at your sins.
That's the solution.
Not Mohammed. Not Joseph Smith. Not the Watchtower. These groups add to God's Word found in the Holy Bible. You don't need the Quaran, The Book of Mormon or the Jehovah's Witness's missionaries to help you understand what the Bible says. It's simply a heartfelt "Lord remember me when you come into your kingdom."
You don't need any specific Church either. We would like you to come to our church to fellowship but God can reach you on you living room coach or in your hotel room. He has reached out to many people in many different places. He is reaching out to you as you read this.
Do you know Him today. Do not turn Him away. Jesus, o Jesus. Without Him how lost we would be.
